Key Responsibilities

SAP Datasphere Architecture

• Lead the detailed redesign of the SAP Datasphere landscape, including tenant and development, test and production options, capacity, licence implications and indicative costs.
• Establish scalable space architecture, layering strategies and modelling standards.
• Design Staging, Harmonisation and Business Consumption layers, including object placement, sharing, naming and orchestration rules.
• Define reusable facts, dimensions, hierarchies and analytic models aligned to the CDM, including persistence, history, performance and data quality requirements.
• Define how Datasphere implements governed enterprise semantics and how SAC and Power BI consume them consistently.
• Promote asset reuse and control duplication or divergence of shared business logic across reporting tools.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• Recent hands-on architecture and production delivery of SAP Datasphere enterprise warehouse solutions, with detailed design and engineering handover responsibility.
• Strong SAP ecosystem experience including:
• SAP Datasphere
• SAP BW/BW4HANA
• SAP ECC
• SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience aligning Common Data Models with logical/physical designs, metadata, lineage and governed semantic models.
• Practical Entra ID, SAP IAS and supported user provisioning experience, plus Datasphere roles, DACs and SAC authorisation design.
• Experience defining tenant strategies, capacity/licence implications and controlled migration alongside live reporting.
• Practical Power BI governance experience, including shared semantic models, workspace and publishing controls, permissions and managed self-service analytics.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience working across both business and technical communities.
