Data Solution Specialist

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of IT Europe, you will own the company's data and reporting layer

across European operations. Built on AWS/Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI, the role

covers the full lifecycle: connecting business systems, building reliable pipelines,

delivering trusted reports, and applying AI where it creates measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration & Engineering

• Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, Lakehouses and Warehouses

• Connect enterprise, custom and partner systems through APIs, databases and files

• Implement ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python and PySpark

• Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, monitoring and alerting

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop semantic models, dashboards and reports in Power BI using DAX and Power Query

• Define KPIs and reporting logic together with business stakeholders

• Optimize refresh processes, performance and access controls

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Translate business needs into data requirements and reporting solutions

• Work with application owners, business teams and external partners on data sources and

definitions

• Explain trends and findings in practical business terms and support user adoption

AI & Machine Learning

• Use AI tools to accelerate development, debugging and documentation

• Identify and prototype ML use cases such as forecasting and anomaly detection

• Validate AI-generated outputs before production useWays of Working

• Maintain documentation, version control and separate development, test and production

environments

• Automate reporting and workflows using Power Automate

• Follow data governance and confidentiality standards

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development or Analytics Engineering

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouses, Warehouses or

Notebooks)

• Strong SQL / T-SQL skills

• Practical Python and PySpark experience

• Power BI semantic modelling using DAX, Power Query and dimensional modelling

• Experience building ETL/ELT processes and integrating APIs

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Azure and Azure Databricks

• dbt

• Power Automate

• Experience with multi-country or multilingual datasets

• Deployment pipelines and automated testing
