Data Sourcing Manager

Our client is a global hedge fund, seeking a data sourcing expert to join a London-based team. This includes owning the complete vendor lifecycle from capturing user data requirements and working with data providers to negotiate and procure services, coordinating internal implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the data sourcing strategy, working with investment teams to prioritise data requirements.
• Head up negotiations with providers and exchanges on pricing, licensing, and renewals to drive cost savings.
• Oversee inventory, usage and spend tracking, and vendor and exchange reporting.
• Manage senior vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years working with market data, data sourcing, or vendor management
• Track record negotiating complex data contracts.
• Team management experience.
• Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
