Data Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Specialist is responsible for managing, processing, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems to support business operations and decision-making. This role involves data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis, as well as maintaining databases and generating reports for various stakeholders. The Data Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline processes, and support initiatives such as reporting, automation, and data-driven insights, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect, encode, and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and regular quality checks to maintain data integrity
• Manage and maintain databases, including data uploads, downloads, and updates across systems
• Generate and distribute routine and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and improve reporting processes
• Support data-related projects such as automation, system enhancements, and process optimization
• Document data processes, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance
• Monitor and resolve data issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and organizational best practices
• Assist with customer feedback analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Jr DS / Sr Data Specialist on project related tasks
• Support other departmental projects
• Perform additional tasks not covered

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 0-3 year of experience in master data management or related roles (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer literacy (email, chat tools, CRM systems)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 24 months
