Data Lake Developer | Fully Remote | £60,000–£65,000 + 15% Bonus + Benefits

I'm recruiting for a Data Lake Developer to join a well-established, technology-driven organisation operating at significant scale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing Data Engineering team, developing and optimising large-scale data platforms using modern cloud technologies.

The Role:

• Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow .
• Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , particularly BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Develop data engineering solutions using Python and SQL.
• Improve the performance, reliability and efficiency of Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver robust, business-critical data solutions.

Essential Skills:

• Apache Airflow – strong, hands-on commercial experience is absolutely essential.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• BigQuery.
• Python.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working within Data Lake or Data Warehouse environments.

Exposure to Dataform, GCS, Kafka, Flink or BigLake would be advantageous.
