Data Specialist II

Description Position Title : Data Specialist II

Location : Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD

Clearance required : ADP III (IT-III) designation minimum per DoD 5200.02; favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI); U.S. citizenship required for .mil domain access

Scope of Work: Performs Data Specialist I duties with less supervision and greater efficiency, troubleshoots data discrepancies with staff, and may serve as primary coordinator for document transfer and tracking.

Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

• Perform all Data Specialist I duties with greater efficiency and less supervision.
• Communicate and troubleshoot with scientific and administrative staff to resolve data discrepancies.
• Serve as primary coordinator among internal and external contacts.
• Facilitate the transfer and tracking of documents.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform data processing duties with greater efficiency and minimal supervision
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills to resolve data discrepancies
• Ability to coordinate document transfer and tracking across internal and external contacts
• U.S. citizenship; able to obtain a favorable NACI and ADP III designation
