Data Strategy Consultant

Primary skills: Data Consulting, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, Business Intelligence, Visualization and Reporting.

An opportunity to work in strategic projects in Data related topic areas.

Experience in one or more of the following data disciplines

Data Products: practical knowledge on product vision, business outcomes, ownership, roadmaps and operating model.

Functional Data Modelling: business domains, conceptual and logical models, entities, relationships and business definitions.

Data Warehousing, ETL and Data Lake

Data governance and Data quality

Building data-marts

Business Intelligence/ Analytics

Visualization and reporting design for business/ process KPIs

And have experience in developing in one or more of the following deliverables –

Data inventory and data flow documentation assessing data sources, systems using SQL skills

Source to Target Mapping documentation that involves data profiling, data analysis, data modelling

Report-dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik

Detailed business requirements documentation or functional specification documentation (in data related areas, an added advantage)

Industry Knowledge: Expertise in at least one industry or business domain with the ability to translate processes, KPIs and requirements into data requirements

Training documentation for data related concepts

Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, GenAI platforms) to support Data Strategy initiatives such as Value Management, Change Management, assessment frameworks, research, insights generation, and solution development.

Experience working in Data literacy initiatives driving change enablement for data transformation programs, an added advantage

Knowledge & Experience in IT project management & Agile methodology, an added advantage

Experiential knowledge in any Industry or Data domains (e.g., Sales, Finance) is an added advantage

Experience in Sustainability/ ESG KPI report preparation or ESG reporting tools and standards, an added advantage

Experienced business analyst or business consultant in IT projects related to Data specific areas and have experience of running workshops with client stakeholders for gathering requirements, requirements analysis and review, can also apply

Should have intent to and be able to create points of view, knowledge articles. Keen to learn industry trends and perform research to source materials to support points-of-view

Should be able to demonstrate learnability in technology areas, industry trends

Should be a good communicator and comfortable with presentation - articulate thoughts to convey message clearly and be a willing team player.
