Data Tester

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute test cases with minimal support/review from supervisor
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Review the project plan and specifically the milestones and hours for test case writing and testing
• Review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Analyze and contribute the idea to complete the requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of degrees in Computer Science, Data Science or a related subject.
• From 2-3 years of experience working on testing, including experience in data test projects
• Data knowledge: Solid understanding of data concepts, databases, and data processing methodologies
• Experience working on data warehouse / data platform projects, including: Test strategy development; Test planning; Test case design for data validation
• Strong knowledge of SQL with good skills in writing and optimizing SQL scripts
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and ETL testing
• Data analysis skills: Ability to analyze data to identify issues, defects, and inconsistencies, as well as propose solutions
• Experience working with various database management systems, such as: Oracle, MySQL, BigQuery, IBM DB2, etc.
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Nice to have: Experience in data testing for banking or financial systems
