• Implement best practices for database design, development, and performance optimization
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning:Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to ensure optimal efficiency
• Conduct regular assessments to proactively address potential performance issues
• Security and Compliance:Implement and maintain robust database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies
• Backup and Recovery:Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime
• Conduct regular tests of backup and recovery procedures
• Database Upgrades and Patching:Plan and execute database upgrades and apply patches in a timely and coordinated manner
• Stay informed about the latest updates and advancements in database technologies
