Database Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize databases for critical systems. The candidate should have strong expertise in database management, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain databases (MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization
• Handle backup, recovery, and security management
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and data integrity
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Database Administration
• Strong knowledge of MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL
• Experience in performance tuning, backup & recovery
• Understanding of database security and access control
• Ability to manage large-scale databases

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Government Departments / Government Projects
• Knowledge of database monitoring tools
• Exposure to cloud databases (AWS/Azure) is a plusRole & responsibilities
