Database Administrator

For our client, we are seeking a Database Administrator to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will support critical database environments that underpin production operations and business continuity. The ideal candidate will focus on performance monitoring, issue resolution, and stability improvements across cloud-based database systems. You will also partner with stakeholders to define requirements and establish standards that support reliable database management.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $111,155 – $150,385 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for critical database environments with shift coverage
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Conduct root-cause analysis for defects and improve stability
• Develop operating standards and best practices for database management
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in database analysis or administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in AWS database technologies such as Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
• Experience with data migration from legacy systems to cloud platforms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
