Database Administrator

We are looking for an L2 Database Administrator with hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL for database operations and production support.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily database health checks and monitor database availability.
Monitor SQL Agent jobs, MySQL jobs, backups and scheduled activities.
Handle backup failures, job failures, disk space alerts and database space-related issues.
Perform database backup, restore and refresh activities based on approved requests.
Create/modify database logins, users and permissions as per access requests.
Execute approved SQL scripts, stored procedures and deployment scripts.
Monitor database sessions and handle basic blocking or long-running session issues.
Check SQL Server Always On and MySQL replication status as part of regular monitoring.
Perform standard database maintenance activities such as index and statistics maintenance.
Support application teams for database connectivity and access-related requests.
Handle regular incident, service request and change tickets and provide timely updates.
Follow existing SOPs and operational procedures for production activities.
Maintain backup reports, health-check reports and shift handover updates.
Escalate database performance, HA/DR and other complex technical issues to the L3 DBA team .Experience: 35 years of experience in SQL Server and MySQL database administration/support.

Should be open for rotational shifts
Its a 5days a week
Relevant experience of 3+years in SQL/MySQL Server database administration Role & responsibilities
