We are looking for a Database Administrator to support the administration, optimization, performance, and security of database environments across on-premise infrastructure and Google Cloud.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Design, administer, and maintain database architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Work with Google BigQuery , Google Cloud SQL, and ideally BigLake (Lakehouse).
• Administer MySQL and Oracle databases, including schemas, tables, stored procedures, and access permissions.
• Monitor database performance, availability, replication, and data integrity.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Optimize database performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Support database upgrades, security policies, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration or a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery , with hands-on experience in Google Cloud data environments.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL and/or Oracle.
• Experience with Google Cloud SQL; knowledge of BigLake (Lakehouse) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and security.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

⭐ BigQuery expertise is a key requirement for this role , so we are particularly interested in professionals who have hands-on experience working with Google BigQuery and cloud-based database solutions.
