We are seeking a Senior DBA to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of our database environments-spanning on-premises and cloud platforms. This role requires strong database tuning skills, knowledge of cloud-based databases, and database architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Performance & Tuning

• Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot slow queries, tune indexes/storage, manage

resource allocation and query plans.

• Cloud Database Administration

• Manage cloud DB instances

• Handle high availability, replication, failover, and disaster recovery in cloud environments.

• Database Architecture & Design

• Design scalable and secure database architectures.

• Collaborate with architects and developers on schema, capacity planning, and system integration.

• Security, Complaince Backup & Recovery

• Implement access control, encryption, audits, and compliance measures.

• Design and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Documentation & Mentorship

• Support & Operations

• Participate in 24 7 on-call rotations, incident response, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 12+ years in enterprise DBA roles, including hands-on database tuning.

• Strong proficiency in RDBMSs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

• Experience with cloud databases and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Deep understanding of architecture, replication, HA, and planning.

• Knowledge of security, backup/recovery, compliance, and audits.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication; leadership skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Certifications and Hands-on AWS, Azure, Oracle & Microsoft DB.

• NoSQL and data warehouse experience.

• Expert in tuning Database & Artitecture .

• DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
