Role Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize high-availability MongoDB and MariaDB environments across on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Design, deploy, and monitor database schemas, indexes, replication, and sharding strategies for performance and scalability.
• Implement automated backup, recovery, auditing, and disaster recovery processes aligned with SLAs.
• Lead performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for OLTP and analytical workloads.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, enforce security best practices, and automate routine DBA tasks.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and compliance controls; mentor junior team members on MongoDB/MariaDB best practices.
