Database Administrator (Oracle)

Responsibilities:

 Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases.

Creating database as per the requirements.

Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backup and recovery.

Handle database security, users, roles, privileges, and access control.

Perform database backup, restore, and disaster-recovery activities.

Monitor database space, CPU, memory, sessions, and SQL performance.

Troubleshoot database incidents and production issues.

Perform database migrations, upgrades, and refreshes.

Automate routine DBA tasks using SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.

Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and DR plans.

Support high availability and 247 production environments.

Required Skills:
 Strong Oracle Database administration experience.
 Oracle 12c/18c/19c/21c knowledge.
 RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM.
 SQL and PL/SQL.
 Linux/Unix/Windows administration and shell scripting.
 Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
 Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
 Knowledge of Oracle Vault, Oracle TDE. E-wallet, DB security points, RMAN expertise
 Export and import backups as per the client requirements.
 Knowledge of ITIL/incident and change-management processes.
 Installation of Linux and Managing Linux server.
 Perform Oracle database installation and configuration on Linux/Unix/AIX/Windows platforms.
​-Install, configure, and manage Linux servers required for Oracle database environments.
 Perform basic WebLogic Server installation, configuration, administration, service
management, and troubleshooting.

Pay: ₹352,452.41 - ₹669,891.16 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• RMAN expertis: 2 years (Preferred)
• SQL and PL/SQL.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Linux/Unix/Windows administration and shell scripting.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle : 3 years (Preferred)
