Job Description

• Performing security and performance audits of the T-SQL codes produced by the software development department while being moved from the development database environment to the test (pre-prod/Q&A) database environment and from the test environment to the live environment.
• Identifying the performance deficiencies of the codes and conveying the problem and solution suggestions to the software development department
• Answering software developers' questions about T-SQL practices
• Proactively detecting potential security and performance problems and taking precautionary measures.
• Being ready to intervene in case of an unexpected performance problem.

Qualifications

• Experienced in SQL Server 2012 and later versions
• At least 5+ years of work experience
• Advanced T-SQL coding knowledge
• Knowledge of T-SQL practices
• Closely following the world literature on T-SQL
• Will work in full integration with the software development department
• Tech-savvy and advanced in research
• Compatible with teamwork
• Good knowledge of English
• Compatible with flexible working hours
• Preferably worked on financial technologies
