Database Administrator with Security Clearance

TMC Technologies is in search of a Database Administrator specializing in both Oracle and Postgres to support a federal client.

The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Top Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.

The Database Administrator will :

• Administer Oracle and Postgres databases
• Debug Oracle and Postgres databases
• Patch and upgrade Oracle and Postgres databases
• Conduct performance tuning on Oracle and Postgres databases
• Resolve issues with Oracle and Postgres databases Job Requirements US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of DBA experience required Experience administering Oracle or Postgres databases (ideally both)

Experience with AWS/RDS/S3/DMS

Experience working with and debugging Oracle/Postgres databases

Experience with Oracle/Postgres database patching and upgrades

Experience conducting performance tuning on Oracle/Postgres databases

Experience with Oracle/Postgres database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback

Experience with restoring Oracle/Postgres databases

Experience configuring Oracle/Postgres databases to meet federal security guidelines

Experience identifying and resolving performance or availability issues in databases
