Job Summary

We are hiring a Database Engineer (L3 Support) with strong experience in managing enterprise database environments. The role involves database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, high availability, and troubleshooting critical production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support production databases.
• Perform database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents.
• Support database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
• Implement and maintain high availability and replication solutions.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Mysql
• Strong knowledge of MySQL tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with High Availability (HA), Clustering, and Replication.
• Knowledge of database monitoring and automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Profile

• 8+ years of Database Administration experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 support model.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
