About the Opportunity

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Database Analyst – SQL & Oracle for a contract opportunity in Ocoee, Florida.

We're looking for a hands-on database professional with strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL who enjoys working with complex database environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing solutions that support business operations.

In this role, you'll work across multiple database platforms, supporting SQL development, database administration, reporting, migrations, and day-to-day database operations. You'll also collaborate with technical teams to maintain database performance, improve processes, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes using Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.
• Support database administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities across multiple platforms.
• Perform database migrations, support system deployments, and maintain database replication and SQL distribution processes.
• Create and maintain database monitoring, alerts, and performance-related processes.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, operational KPIs, and metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Review database schemas, data dictionaries, and application architectures to support system requirements.
• Design, modify, and optimize database structures to improve performance and data processing.
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on database patching, infrastructure maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Support vendor deployments, hardware replacement activities, and database-related infrastructure projects.
• Gather, analyze, and normalize business and operational data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in multiple technical projects and provide technical guidance to junior team members when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience involving database administration, SQL development, database design, or related technical environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL (Transact-SQL).
• Experience supporting and maintaining relational database environments.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, schemas, data dictionaries, and data processing.
• Experience with database migrations, maintenance, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze data requirements and develop efficient database solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience developing and maintaining operational KPIs and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of SQL distribution and database replication processes.
• Experience with database monitoring, alerting, and patch management.
• Experience supporting vendor deployments and infrastructure-related database operations.
• Background working in complex, multi-platform enterprise environments.
• Previous experience supporting transportation, infrastructure, or operational technology systems.

Additional Information

• Work Location: Ocoee, Florida – 100% onsite.
• Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.
• A Level 1 background check is required before starting.
• Interviews may be conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams.
