Database Reliability Engineer

This position blends the foundational responsibilities of a SQL DBA with innovative strategies aimed at maintaining the integrity and availability of our data-driven services. You’ll be at the forefront of keeping data architecture robust and responsive, contributing directly to the organization's success.
Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, with a strong focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Solid experience with MySQL database management and operations.
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.
• Capability in monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments.
• Understanding of indexing, partitioning, and replication strategies.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Exposure to cloud-based databases, including AWS Aurora (though not mandatory).
• Experience in database automation and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with database security practices and compliance.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in database administration or database reliability roles is preferred.
