Databricks Data Engineer - B2B

Amsterdam | 6-month Initial Contract

We’re working with a European technology company that is moving its existing data workloads onto Databricks and building out a modern Lakehouse platform.

They’re looking for a Senior Databricks Data Engineer to join the project and play a hands-on role in the migration - rebuilding and optimising pipelines, moving workloads into Databricks and helping shape how the new platform is built.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimise scalable data pipelines in Databricks
• Develop production workloads using PySpark, Python and SQL
• Migrate existing data workloads into the Databricks Lakehouse
• Work with Delta Lake and large-scale datasets
• Improve Spark performance, reliability and data quality
• Build robust ETL/ELT processes
• Work closely with Data Science, Analytics and Cloud teams
• Contribute to technical decisions around the wider data platform

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll need strong, hands-on experience delivering Databricks projects in production , ideally within migration or platform transformation environments.
