What they need
Develop are looking for an experienced Databricks Engineer to join a large-scale data programme on an initial 6-month contract .
The role will be hybrid in Brussels and will suit someone with strong hands-on Databricks experience within enterprise environments.
What you’ll be working on:
- Building and developing solutions in Databricks
- Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Working extensively with Spark / PySpark
- Supporting data transformation and migration initiatives
- Developing modern data lake and lakehouse solutions
- Working closely with Data Engineers, Architects and wider technology teams
- Improving performance, reliability and scalability across the data platform
What we’re looking for:
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Hands-on experience with Python / PySpark
- Experience building ETL / ELT pipelines
- Strong understanding of lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms
- Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
- Comfortable working independently within a contract environment
Contract: Initial 6 months, likely to extend
Location: Hybrid, Brussels
Start: ASAP / flexible
Language: English speaking
