About UsTischler Enterprises produces cinematic, instruction-driven art-education videos for a worldwide audience. We are expanding our catalog of multi-camera tutorials, social reels, and promotional trailers. As production increases, we're growing our team in Wanaka, New Zealand, and seeking an intermediate editor with graphic design skills to join us.

The Role

We are looking for a team member to join our team in a permanent full-time position. The ideal candidate has completed their training in video production and has 1-3 years of professional experience working in DaVinci Resolve Studio.

You will sync, cut, color-grade, create graphics, and edit both short social media content and long-form lessons with the Editing Suite. You’ll also gain experience in graphic design, color grading, and sound mixing; report to our Production Manager; and work with other editors, both onsite and remote.

What You’ll Do

• Edit, grade, mix, and cut long-form videos and short-form social snippets in DaVinci Resolve (Cut, Fusion, Color, Deliver).
• Incorporate branded motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and logos following Tischler Enterprises guidelines.
• Refine pacing and narrative with our creators, flagging any gaps in coverage or audio issues early.
• Prepare deliverables in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16) and export files to the correct bitrates for different social media platforms.
• Quality control in renders for mistakes, artifacts, and audio sync before hand-off, handing off your work for further review
• Creating thumbnails and graphics for social media & website content
• Participate in peer reviews to help elevate the team's overall quality.

What You Bring

• Qualifications in Video Production & Graphic Design
• At least 3 years of professional experience
• DaVinci Resolve skills, including multi-cam workflow, fusion compositing, and color correction.
• Strong grasp of codecs and delivery best practices.
• Passion for filming, video production, editing, and art education
• Self-discipline to hit deadlines while working solo, plus fluent written and spoken English for daily stand-ups.
• Ability to work in Wanaka, New Zealand

Contract Snapshot

• Status: Full-Time Employment
• Compensation: 60,000 to 75,000 NZD depending on skill and experience
• Location: Wanaka, New Zealand
• Hours: 8 am – 5 pm New Zealand time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
