Day Bartender – Whispers Bar & Lounge

Location: Houston, TX
Position: Part-Time Day Bartender
Schedule: Friday, 1:30 PM–8:00 PM
Pay: Hourly rate + tips

Overview

Whispers Bar & Lounge is looking for an experienced, outgoing Day Bartender who can create a welcoming atmosphere, build relationships, and bring energy to our daytime crowd.

An established customer base or active social media following is strongly preferred. We're looking for someone who can attract guests, promote their shifts, and help grow our daytime business while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
• Build relationships with guests and encourage repeat visits.
• Promote shifts, specials, and events through social media.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Accurately handle transactions using Square POS.
• Complete opening, shift-change, and cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Current Texas TABC certification required.
• Strong cocktail knowledge and customer service skills.
• Established regulars or an active social media presence preferred.
• Reliable, personable, self-motivated, and professional.
• Comfortable working independently during daytime hours.
