Day by Day Substitute Teachers

Position: Day by Day Substitute TeacherReports to: Building PrincipalLocation: Systemwide; specific location varies by assignmentJob Responsibilities: 1) Reports to classroom(s) and/or other assigned areas in the school as directed.2) Maintains established classroom routines for all students in the assigned classroom(s).3) Adheres to established plans as directed by the classroom teacher and/or school administrator.4) Communicates clearly and efficiently with school administrators regarding concerns.Required Qualifications (some of which may be completed during the onboarding process): 1) High School Diploma2) Completed background check including CORI and fingerprinting3) Submission of the District written interview questions4) Attendance at a virtual Substitute Orientation session5) Proof of receipt and understanding of the GPS Substitute HandbookSalary: Daily pay rate for days worked, not benefits-eligibleNon educator certified: $90/dayEducator certified: $95/dayRetired Grafton Teacher: $105/day
