Day Habilitation Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations within our group home environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care and social work, with a passion for providing exceptional support to residents and staff alike. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to develop care plans, and a commitment to fostering a positive community atmosphere.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations of the group home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, adapting as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Lead and mentor staff members, providing guidance on best practices in senior care and support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and well-being.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining high-quality services.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and staff performance to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in long-term care.

Skills

• Proven experience in group home or senior care settings is essential.
• Strong knowledge of care plans and the ability to assess resident needs effectively.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial acumen in managing operational costs.
• Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
• Experience in home community care or nursing home environments is a plus.

Pay: $21.52 - $21.96 per hour
