Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Coordinate seating arrangements and manage restaurant table management systems to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, assisting with reservations, inquiries, and guest needs
• Maintain organized guest lists, waitlists, and seating charts to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
• Support food service staff by managing guest flow and ensuring timely seating and departures
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to health regulations and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and positively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and billing procedures

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
