Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas for construction activities
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Operate power tools and basic equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance for safety and efficiency
• Follow all workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
• Support equipment repair and maintenance tasks as needed to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition

Qualifications

• Prior industrial construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and basic repairs
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
