Day Porter at Private School

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. SUMMER"S OFF!!

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Assist with basic custodial duties such as restroom sanitation and replenishing supplies.
• Support commercial cleaning efforts in various environments including School offices, school, and Cafeteria settings.
• Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to address any repairs or upkeep needed within the premises.
• Provide porter services as required, ensuring that common areas are tidy and organized. Disinfecting Desk and stacking chairs.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices will be beneficial.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
