Day Porter /Concierge

Cabra castle , kingscourt, Co. Cavan is Recruiting for a Day porter / Concierge. This role is to support front desk operations, assisting guests with their general enquiries, luggage & belongings, providing directions to accommodations/ assisting with lifts to accommodations, providing directions to accommodation offsite as well as local tourist attractions.

As concierge /day porter you will also provide operational support across the hotel while facilitating porter operations, assisting management, occasionally supporting Food & Beverage functions, . The role carries additional responsibility for standards, creating memorable first and last impressions for our guests

Main Duties & Responsibilities Day porter /concierge Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level guest service and resolve guest issues professionally.
• Act as a senior point of contact during shifts.
• Support VIP arrivals, group check-ins, weddings, and events.
• Ensure lobby and public area presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist management with operational coordination during busy periods.
• Assist with management of stores facilitating wedding items coming in /out

Day Porter /Concierge Requirements

• Own driving license
• Full time availability both mid week and weekends, morning and evening shifts (7am-3pm or 3pm -11pm)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Permission to work and reside in state
• Demonstrated history of great organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
