Day Porter STUART

A Day Porter provides on-site cleaning and support services throughout the day to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, appearance, and customer service in the condominium’s common areas.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lobby & Entrance Care
• Keep lobby floors, glass doors, and windows spotless throughout the day.
• Wipe down concierge desk and seating areas.
• Maintain neatness of entry rugs, mats, and décor.
• Assist with parcel/package deliveries (as directed by management).
• Common Areas
• Patrol and spot-clean hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
• Regularly disinfect high-touch points (elevator buttons, door handles, railings).
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, artwork, and decorative surfaces.
• Monitor lighting and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Restrooms & Locker Rooms (if applicable)
• Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
• Maintain cleanliness and freshness at all times.
• Respond quickly to spills or cleanliness complaints.
• Amenity Spaces
• Keep fitness center clean and stocked with sanitizing wipes/towels.
• Spot-clean pool area, cabanas, and lounges (as required).
• Refresh meeting rooms, theater rooms, or social lounges after use.
• Trash & Recycling
• Empty trash receptacles in common areas regularly.
• Monitor recycling bins for overflow and contamination.
• Remove trash from lobby and amenity spaces promptly.
• Customer Service
• Greet residents and guests courteously.
• Respond quickly to resident requests or complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance consistent with luxury standards.
• Special Attention
• Immediate response to spills, accidents, or urgent cleaning needs.
• Assist building management with special event setups/cleanups.
• Support evening janitorial staff by maintaining daytime cleanliness.

Standards & Expectations

• Always maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism in resident interactions.
• Adhere to luxury property standards: spotless, odor-free, and well-presented common spaces at all times.
• Report any safety hazards, security issues, or maintenance needs to management immediately.
• Follow all OSHA and building safety guidelines.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
