About the role
This role involves supporting production operations in a chemical processing environment, assisting with purchasing and sourcing of consumables, data collection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of safety and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist production in purchasing consumable and sourcing new operational items
- Assist Operation Engineer to collect data and samples to facilitate trouble shooting
- Follow Operation Engineer for non-regular work execution
- Support shift operation activities when in need
- Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance for routine activities
About you
- Diploma or Nitec in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a chemical processing environment
- Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous
- Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing with working knowledge
- Proficient in using computing software – MS word, MS Excel
