Day Program DSP

New Day My Way, LLC has recently opened a day program in Trumbull County (Howland). We are currently seeking caring candidates for the position of Day Program Staff. This position would work under the direct supervision of the Day Program Director.

Minimum Requirements for Day Program Staff

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Ohio Driver's License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• Must pass all background checks
• High School Diploma or GED

Day Program Staff Essential Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Provide and ensure safe and efficient to all program participants within the facility and during outings.
• Provide supervision of clients during transportation, to include loading and unloading of riders, as needed during outings.
• Provide supervision of clients while at the program and on outings
• Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements for Day Program Staff:

• Previous day program experience a plus but not necessary.
• Previous experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work between the hours of 8am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED
• Will be required to obtain first aid and CPR certification
• Physically able to lift and potentially carry up to 50lbs, frequently bend, squat, twist and stretch while loading and unloading passengers from vehicles and assisting individuals at the day program.
• Ability to work in an environment where you will be exposed to behaviors and required to physically assistance with client’s personal hygiene needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
