Day Services Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a Day Service Programme Supervisor for 35 hours per week over 7 days (plus on-call hours) across our services in Bagenalstown

The Programme Supervisor will provide leadership and management within their designated programme area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services. In conjunction with the Day Service Manager and the Day Service Coordinator the Programme Supervisor will participate in the planning and development of the programme in line with New Directions and relevant National Policy.

The Programme Supervisor will ensure that members files, Person Centred Plans, Medication Management, Risk Assessments, and any necessary documentation to support the members is kept current and up to date in the programme area.

They will be responsible for the delivery of services in line with Beam’s Policies & Procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Minimum QQI Level 7 Qualification in Social Care / Social Studies or equivalent field is a requirement for this position.
• CORU Registered or in process of being registered.
• A QQI Level 6 Qualification in Leadership & Management or equivalent field, to manage a Day Service is desirable for this position.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of social care is essential.
• Proven competence in the care and support of the adults with intellectual disabilities and/ or Autism and a genuine interest in this area is required.
• A sound knowledge and proven ability to interpret and apply legislation such as The National Standards for Adults with Disabilities
• Applicants must be highly motivated, have excellent communication & time management skills.
• Excellent record keeping skills are required.
• Garda Clearance and a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence required.
