Kaan’s Catering Supplies is looking for an experienced Butcher to join our Butchery Process Room team in Dunedin. This is a hands-on, night shift role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality products and working

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 2:00pm
• A minimum of 40 hours per week.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing a range of meat products to a high standard. You’ll work as part of a supportive team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cutting and trimming a variety of proteins
• Processing and packing fresh and imported meat products
• Maintaining strict quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Contributing to a collaborative and productive team environment

About You

We’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will have:

• At least 3 years’ knife handling experience
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Physical capability to lift and handle product safely
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
