Daycare Assistant

Wildflowers Daycare is passionate about helping littles learn in a safe, fun environment! We teach them life skills so they thrive at the age they are at now and as they get older. Our dream is for all of our littles to grow up into confident, caring individuals that succeed in school and life.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking part time help with closing down the facility at the end of the day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood development, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a daycare setting

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children

• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment

• Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care

• Assisting the Director in the smooth and safe running of the daycare

-Closing down the rooms so they are ready for the next day

**Qualifications:**

• Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate care techniques

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication skills with both children and parents

• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus

**Skills:**

• Toddler care

• Classroom management

• Infant care expertise (for those seeking the infant position)

• Behavior management skills

• Preschool curriculum knowledge

• Understanding of childhood development principles

• (Adult) Management Experience
