Childcare Staff / Center Closer

Little Royals Daycare is looking for a reliable, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, works well with others, and is confident stepping up as a leader when needed.

Applicants must be 18 years or older. Hours may vary, so flexibility is important.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

* Provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for children
* Be a strong leader and comfortable taking charge when needed
* Use good judgment and confidently handle situations as they arise
* Be reliable, consistent, and punctual
* Be flexible with scheduling and willing to help where needed throughout the center
* Come to work ready and willing to work each scheduled shift
* Work well independently as well as part of a team
* Communicate professionally with children, families, coworkers, and leadership
* Be willing to learn new things and take on additional responsibilities
* Be receptive to feedback, direction, and advice from leadership
* Follow daycare policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
* Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classrooms
* Assist with daily routines, activities, meals, diapering/toileting, and other childcare needs
* Remain calm, patient, and professional in a busy childcare environment

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years or older
* Dependable and reliable attendance is a must
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Able to take initiative and make good decisions
* Patient, caring, and comfortable working with children of different ages
* Willing to learn and grow within the position
* Must be able to accept constructive feedback and direction
* Childcare experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate

We are looking for someone who wants to be a consistent and dependable part of our team, not just someone looking to fill a few hours. The right person will be willing to learn, step up when needed, and help create a positive environment for both our children and staff.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
