Daycare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote childhood development while ensuring the well-being of each child. The Daycare Teacher will work with infants through preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and learning through engaging experiences.

Duties

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with developmental milestones.
• Provide attentive care for infants, ensuring their basic needs are met, including feeding, diapering, and comfort.
• Supervise children during playtime and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop programs that support children with disabilities or special needs.
• Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience with infant care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• First Aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
• A nurturing attitude and a genuine passion for working with young children.
