Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional learning.
• Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
• Manage classroom activities to foster positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and build strong partnerships supporting each child's growth.
• Conduct assessments aligned with childhood development standards and standardized testing to monitor progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, mandated reporting laws, and child welfare policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom organization, and implementing specialized programs such as Montessori or early intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education techniques, and classroom management practices.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management strategies.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or Montessori teaching are a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Ability to follow mandated reporting laws diligently while maintaining a nurturing environment for all children.
• Experience with classroom experience involving standardized testing or early intervention programs is advantageous.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 9am-6pm

Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
