Daycare Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

● Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.

● Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities.

● Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.

● Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.

● Follow all licensing and safety regulations.

● Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or GED required.

● Experience working with young children is preferred.

● DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training completed or willingness to complete upon hire.

● CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

● Must pass all required background screenings.

● Strong communication and organizational skills.

● Dependable, positive, and professional.
