TLC Family Care is hiring dependable and experienced Daycare Workers and Childcare Providers to support local daycare and childcare centers throughout the St. Louis area.

Our primary hiring focus is daycare workers. We also have in-home babysitting opportunities available for caregivers interested in additional assignments.

What Your Week Could Look Like

We're looking for childcare providers who can offer at least 2 weekdays of availability. You can choose which weekdays work best with your schedule.

Most childcare assignments are full-day weekday shifts, typically around 7–10 hours, such as:

• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or 6:00 PM
• 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday babysitting shifts may also be available for caregivers interested in weekend work.

Assignments are based on your availability and the needs of local daycare centers and families.

What You'll Be Doing

Daycare & Childcare Center Responsibilities – Primary Role

• Supervise and provide attentive care for children in daycare settings
• Support classroom activities and daily routines
• Organize games, reading, crafts, and age-appropriate learning activities
• Assist with meals, snacks, naps, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing childcare environment
• Work with daycare teachers and childcare staff
• Communicate with staff and parents as needed

In-Home Babysitting – Additional Opportunities

• Provide safe and attentive childcare in family homes
• Plan age-appropriate activities and play
• Assist with meals, snacks, naps, and daily routines
• Communicate with parents about their child's day

Pay

• $19/hour – Caring for 1–2 children
• $20/hour – Caring for 3 children
• $21/hour – Caring for 4 children

Pay depends on the assignment.

Plus, you'll receive weekly direct deposit every Friday.

You May Be a Great Fit If You...

Have experience working with children through daycare, preschool, teaching, babysitting, nannying, camps, or similar childcare settings.

We're especially looking for dependable childcare providers who enjoy working with children, have reliable transportation, and can consistently offer weekday availability.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare experience
• Daycare or childcare center experience is highly encouraged
• Two childcare references required: One should be a non-family reference, such as a family you babysat for, daycare, church nursery, neighbor, or family friend. The second may be a family member you have regularly provided childcare for, such as caring for nieces or nephews.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to commit for at least 3 months
