A quick look at the role
We’re looking for experienced Dayforce Configuration Specialists to join us on a defined programme of work, delivering meaningful improvements across our HR, Payroll and Operations teams. You’ll use your technical expertise to solve problems, optimise the platform and help colleagues get the most out of Dayforce. If you enjoy turning challenges into practical solutions and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Your core responsibilities
- Dayforce Configuration: Take a hands-on role in the administration and technical configuration of Dayforce across Core HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management (WFM), delivering an agreed programme of work packages.
- Requirements Specification: Partner with stakeholders to review and validate work package requirements, translating business needs into clear functional and technical specifications that can be efficiently developed and deployed.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve existing system issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable configuration improvements that enhance system performance and reduce recurring support demands.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, IT, Operations and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, delivery priorities remain aligned and progress is communicated throughout the lifecycle of each change.
Our essential requirements
- Proven hands-on configuration experience across Dayforce, including Core HR, Payroll and Workforce Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex system behaviours and identify effective solutions.
- Experience translating business requirements into practical technical outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A delivery-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work through to completion.
