CNA RESPONSIBILITIES

As a CNA at Orchard Manor, you will play an essential role in providing compassionate, quality care to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and getting in and out of bed.
• Provide mealtime assistance, including meal preparation support, feeding, and encouraging proper hydration.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other required documentation.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and respond to their needs.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and overall well-being.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional resident care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania CNA certification.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to follow facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
• Must be able to successfully complete required background clearances.
