DAYTIME CHEF – £32K–£35K + TIPS

DAYTIME CHEF – £32K–£35K + TIPS

8am–4pm | 5 days a week | No evenings

Love cooking but hate hospitality hours?

We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our independent café in Bath.

Work 8am–4pm, five days a week, and keep your evenings to yourself. No split shifts, no finishing at midnight and no restaurant-style late nights.

At Same-Same But Different, we cook fresh food using seasonal ingredients, serve breakfast, brunch and lunch, and enjoy creating interesting daily specials. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking, cares about quality and wants to play a part in a friendly, independent business.

What we offer:

• £32,000–£35,000 a year, depending on experience
• Tips on top of your salary
• Consistent daytime hours
• Five days a week, with a rota planned in advance
• Staff meals and employee discount
• A chance to contribute ideas and develop the menu

What we’re looking for:

Someone with solid kitchen experience who can prepare and cook consistently good food, keep standards high, manage their section and work well with the rest of the team. You’ll need to be organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy kitchen.

This is a hands-on chef role in an established independent café, not a big brigade or a formal restaurant kitchen.

We’d love to hear from you.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Benefits:

• Discounted or free food
• Employee discount
