Your role is vital in creating a warm, organized environment that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Duties

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, establishing a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using popular table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their status.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Support the front-of-house team by handling guest inquiries, managing guest relations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout service hours.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette.
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and seating calculations accurately.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided if needed.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
