Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Daytime Manager to lead our restaurant operations during peak daytime hours. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily food service activities, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining operational excellence. As a Daytime Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive team atmosphere while ensuring all safety, quality, and operational standards are met consistently.

There is an operations manager you would work with closely to identify needs of the business, training status, product orders, and franchise updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daytime restaurant team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff performance to promote a motivated and efficient work environment
• Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
• Manage daily operations using POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Control inventory levels through effective inventory management practices, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant
• Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports
• Support shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, managing customer flow, and resolving operational issues promptly
• Conduct staff training sessions focused on food production techniques, customer service excellence, and safety protocols
• Foster a welcoming hospitality environment by ensuring exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
• Proficiency with POS systems; experience with cash handling and basic math skills essential
• Knowledge of inventory control practices along with food production and food handling procedures
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to train staff effectively and lead by example
• Strong communication skills for managerial tasks such as assisting in interviewing, staff development, and customer interactions
• Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or similar environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Basic understanding of budgeting, profit analysis, and food industry regulations is preferred
