Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and provide correct change or receipts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest relations.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly.
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience with OpenTable reservations or similar booking platforms is a plus.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow.

Pay: From $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
