Automotive Porter / Car Washer
Full-time
$15-18 per Hour

Monday through Saturday (1 day off during the week) Possibly 8am-6pm

The Autobarn Volvo Cars Oak Park is seeking a Full-time Porter and Car Washer to make sure vehicle flow is running smoothly in our fast-paced dealership.

We offer:

• $15-18 per hour
• Possibly 8am-6pm, – 35 hours or more a week
• No work on Sundays!

Duties include:

• Washing/Detailing customers’ vehicles and new car deliveries.
• Responsible for moving cars as necessary to assist our clients and staff.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the lot
• Arrange inventory and maintain the lot in a neat and organized manner
• Manage the flow of traffic
• Maintain parking lots in a neat and organized manner
• Keeping the shop, bathrooms, and customer areas clean
• General Inside and outside clean up and maintenance of property
• Running errands and customers to destinations at the request of management
• Other duties directed by upper management

Job Requirements:

• Must be friendly and courteous and able to work with others
• Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Positive attitude and well-groomed appearance
• Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods of time
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
• Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
