Overview We are seeking a DB2 Migration Specialist / DB2 Architect to support a database modernization initiative involving migration from CA IDMS to IBM DB2. The role will focus on database conversion, optimization, and modernization activities as the project progresses.
Duties
- Support the migration of data and database functionality from CA IDMS to IBM DB2.
- Provide DB2 architecture and migration expertise for database conversion activities.
- Support DB2 optimization and modernization efforts.
- Collaborate with project and technical teams to address migration complexity and remaining conversion work.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant database architecture, migration, or modernization experience.
- Experience with CA IDMS-to-IBM DB2 database migration.
- Experience supporting database conversion, optimization, and modernization initiatives.
- Ability to work onsite in Albany, NY
